In some countries, bikes are the normal means for transportation and the options for bikes to transport cargo, children, and even dogs are more widely varied than what you see in our local community.
When you’re looking for your next home, consider not just your commute, but also the bikeability factor. If your commute is going to be long, can you at least ditch (not literally!) your car on weekends? Jobs change, so living somewhere you really love versus somewhere just really close to work, can make a lot of sense.
